Standalone warehouse conversion in Melbourne hits the market

A former Melbourne bottle warehouse with ghost signs on the original facade was converted by a local architect into a contemporary single-family home with exposed brick, Ironbark timber beams, and polished concrete floors.

The converted warehouse is on the market for offers over $1.925m. Its owners have fitted every space with industrial and designer lighting. A 5.2-m-long concrete island stretches across the kitchen, which opens onto a pantry and wine store. Bi-fold doors open onto a deck with a built-in hot tub.

Three bedrooms have en-suites – the master suite has skylights and a northwest-facing balcony looking onto the city.
