Facing Falmouth Harbour from the coastal village of Flushing, a thatched-roof house has come to market for the first time in more than 30 years. Listed with Jonathan Cunliffe for £5 million, Little Flushing has its own private Grade II-listed stone quay at the water’s edge.
The house stands on just under an acre of gardens and looks southwest across the harbour towards Falmouth, in Cornwall. Two slipways descend beside the quay to the Fal Estuary and a separate boathouse faces the water.

The 2,932sqft house is accessed by a cobbled drive that runs through mature trees. Inside, a wood-fired range sits in the reception hall. The kitchen comes with an Aga and an adjoining scullery, with the main reception rooms and one bedroom also on the ground floor.
Upstairs are four more bedrooms, all overlooking the harbour. The house has three bath or shower rooms. Lawns extend towards the waterfront, with mature trees, hedgerows and stone walls enclosing the grounds. The private quay and slipways sit directly below.
