A sprawling home near Zion National Park asks $12 million
Five low-slung buildings step across a rocky hillside near Zion National Park in southern Utah, forming a desert residence designed by Los Angeles architecture studio Woods + Dangaran. Known as Moccasin Flats, the house occupies almost 15 acres and has come onto the market for $12 million.
Connected by glass bridges, the buildings follow the slope of the land, with sand-coloured plaster walls concealing expansive interiors that open towards the surrounding mountains.
Inside, travertine floors extend onto outdoor terraces, accompanied by hand-finished plaster, white oak and antique brass. A 12,000-pound stone sourced locally anchors the living room fireplace, while floor-to-ceiling glazing brings the desert landscape into view.
The main bedroom has a freestanding travertine bathtub, while a private office, media room, gym and Finnish sauna occupy other parts of the house.
Outside, a 50-foot swimming pool stretches towards the mountains, surrounded by gravel paths, boulders and desert planting. A separate two-bedroom guest residence has its own kitchen, living areas and outdoor spaces.
The property borders public land on two sides, with no neighbouring homes visible from the estate.
