Actor Ben Affleck has put his three-home Georgia estate on the market for $8.9 million, including a rustic cabin dubbed the Oyster House.

The Gone Girl star bought the 87-acre Hampton Island compound in 2003, while he was dating Jennifer Lopez, and each of its buildings channels a different architectural style. ‘The Big House’ gets star billing in the listing, but it’s the ‘Oyster House’ that really caught our eye…

Conceived as a five-bedroom guest house, Oyster House has a ground floor living room with a soaring atrium at its core, featuring a wrap around balcony that leads off to private living quarters. The building is set over 10,000 sq ft, meaning it’s actually the biggest of the three properties, and it comes with exposed timber beams, walls and floors, and a steel staircase. Two of the bedrooms are kitted out with bunk beds salvaged from seafaring ships, adding to the vintage vibe.

Outside, huge outdoor terraces look out across the estate and onto the North Newport River.

Not to be outdone, the estate’s two other properties pack their own punch too.

Affleck’s four-bedroom ‘Big House’ is built in an antebellum Greek Revival-style. The 6,000 sq ft manse comes complete with Doric columns and shuttered picture windows, while its film set-like interiors feature moulded walls, wide plank floors and 15-ft-tall ceilings.

Rounding off the pack is The Summer Cottage, complete with stone floors and pitched ceilings, exposed beams and a huge country-style brick hearth in the kitchen.
