Eames House, Los Angeles, USA

Charles Eames once said “The role of the designer is that of a very good, thoughtful host anticipating the needs of his guests.” ✨ The couple’s philosophical approach of design succinctly sums up the feeling one gets facing the Eames House, finding herself in awe with its welcoming charm, detail and the most simple, yet thoughtful lines… wishing she could have been instead one of their contemporaries… a summer holidays guest. #eameshouse #thespacesilike

Messner Mountain Museum, Bolzano, Italy

I don't think there's another place in the world where my passion for both #mountains and #architecture could be more satisfied than at the Messner Mountain Museum (MMM) Corones. I desperately wanted to see this one-of-a-kind structure designed by @zahahadidarchitects from the moment I first read about its opening in 2015. Dug into the plateau of Plan de Corones at 2.275 m, it takes its visitors on a journey through the history of alpinism and provides breathtaking views over the surrounding mountains of the Italian Dolomites and the Austrian Alps. Despite criticism regarding the purpose and curation of the exhibition, the building itself, one of the last projects of Zaha Hadid, is phenomenal! .. . #messnermountainmuseum #corones #archilovers #archidaily #architexture #archhunter #thespacesilike #mountainlovers #themountainiscalling #palepalmcollection #expomag #archivecollectivemag #thisveryinstant #thevisualones #phroommagazine #solarcollective #collecmag #peachestate #forgeyourownpath #rentalmag #oftheafternoon #ifyouleave #justgoshoot #newtopographics #misomultiples #lucecurated #exploretocreate #vscoarchitecture

City Palace, Jaipur, India

Jaipur | florals for the rains _ Chandra Mahal (Moon Palace), at the west end of the sprawling Jaipur City Palace, still is a residence of the royal family. It is a seven story building of private rooms and each floor has been given a specific name. Chhavi Niwas, the Hall of Images, is painted in Wedgwood blue and floral patterns in white lines. During the monsoon, Maharajas used these open spaces on the 5th floor as a retreat to enjoy the rains with panoramic views across the city. _ #thespacesilike with #LeicaQ @leicauk while exploring North India with @kamalantravels

Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings, London, UK

I'll take the comfy green plant chair and all the gin. I'll need a volunteer to look after the plants because I can't even keep a cactus alive ??‍♀️ . . . . . . #interiorwarrior, #interior123, #wheretofindme, #iamatraveler, #TLPics, #traveldeeper , #allwhatsbeautiful , #postcardplaces, #darlingescapes , #beautifuldestinations, #photosofengland, #passionpassport, #theprettycities, #guardiancities, #instabritain #lovegreatbritain, #hello_worldpics, #living_europe, #thelondonlifeinc, #thespacesilike, #londoncitylife, #thisislondon, #prettylittlelondon, #prettycitylondon, #travelerinlondon, #londoncityworld, #itssolondon
