Architect Carlo Mollino’s home, Turin, Italy

From 1960 to 1968 Mollino planned this house, an unusual time scaled for him, as he usually worked very quickly for short term. If you try to remove his furniture and photos, the house itself is not in line with Mollino’s character. Up until his death in 1973, he lived in his old family home and never lived here. Mollino never spoke about the house. Thanks to an intricate series of symbols, Fulvio and Napoleone Ferrari, who took over the house in 1999, realized that this house was actually intended as an afterlife dwelling. Mollino had wanted to design this world as a sort of final theses on his life. #carlomollino #casamollino #afterlifedesign
