Dreamy rooms of Instagram. Although I really don’t know why we use that word so wistfully – dreams are usually super weird. I dreamt last night that I was forced to run a YouTube channel based solely on freezing objects in jello. The dream randos kept yelling at me that I had to be perky while chatting incessantly. It was awful. I would really have preferred a channel reviewing the best plunge pools to lounge in while eating fish tacos and drinking Modelo. Because I might be able to muster perky chatter for that kind of content.

Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Weimar, Germany,

EVE. Auguste Rodin 1881. What luck to catch her bathed in sunlight perfectly positioned at the curve of the staircase. Bauhaus University, Weimar. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Whenever I see Rodin, I immediately think of a quote from a sculptor that I have immense admiration for. “Nothing grows well in the shade of a big tree.” Constantin Brancusi said this upon taking leave of his job as Rodin’s studio assistant. Now that I am writing this, I realize I think of that quote quite often.. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #augusterodin #henryvandevelde #interiorarchitecture #artnouveau #spiralstaircase #bauhausuniversität #bauhaus #bauhausmovement #architecturehistory #thespacesilike #artandarchitecture #bauhaus100 #bauhausweimar #100jahrebauhaus #celebratingbauhaus #twh_journal

Tskaltubo hotel, Tskaltubo, Georgia

Georgia 2.0 // Fit For Royalty This central Tskaltubo hotel was a spot that I tried to visit in 2018 and earlier this year, most times I was out of luck – including in April when the Prime Minister of Georgia held a conference in this very theatre. The former Soviet theatre is a small part of Tskaltubo, but a part that was thankfully saved.

Barcelona // Beautiful corner at @littlebeachhousebarcelona. Every nook and cranny of this place is thoughtfully designed, and awash with tones of blue and green…I honestly wanted to stay here forever. — #littlebeachhousebarcelona #thespacesilike #GinaGoesToSpain

The Buxton Pub, London, UK

When travelling, am I the only one that struggles to decide whether I want to spend my money on good food or a good hotel? I mean, both can be expensive, right? Well say hello to @thebuxtonlondon… a gorge little pub with 15 rooms. They’re all filled with smart details and come in at an amazing £100 per night (flat rate). Plus, this includes access to their honesty bar (Not pictured. Calm down). ? — #NotAnAd #Justobsessed #thebuxton
