Isolina Taberna Peruana, Lima, Perú

I want to say that our time in Lima was more than just eating. It was a Peruvian cuisine pilgrimage in its own right, where in our daily rituals we invoked the gods of foamy flat whites & buttery croissants, freshly baked sourdough bread & mouthwatering lomo fino sandwiches, ceviche bowls splashed with lime zest & perfect salmon sashimi slices drowned with heavenly pisco sour cocktails. The most regal of dishes though was the lomo saltado, perfection on a plate, a dream in physical form, a dish worthy of a celestial hymn, its own shrine and all the glory. Also, the culprit behind our three consecutive visits to Taberna Isolina 🙈😍👑 #rhymeswithperu 🇵🇪🍲🍽️
