For over a decade, Marie Antoinette star Kirsten Dunst called this Manhattan penthouse home. Now, six years after she sold it in 2018 for $4.43m, it’s back on the market – with an increased price tag of $6.95m.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit crowns Liberty Corp (533 Canal/477 Washington), an eight-unit pre-war co-operative on Hudson Square. Its major selling point is its expansive views of the Hudson River and sunrise and sunset light from its arched windows.

The Manhattan property is serviced by a private elevator that opens into the living room, with 11-ft high ceilings, massive arched windows looking onto the water, and a chef’s kitchen with marble counters and custom cabinetry.

According to the listing, it has been totally renovated in recent years, meaning it’s likely very different from Dunst’s time as custodian. There are swathes of exposed brickwork, plus upgrades such as custom wide-plank flooring, new double-insulated windows, and three-zone central heating and cooling.

The primary bedroom has rooftop views north and ‘a Narnia-style wardrobe’ that leads into a walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom. There’s also a library/den separated by a 3-piece brass/glass sliding door that turns it into an extra guest bedroom if needed.

Also worth noting is the co-op’s monthly maintenance fees, which is incredibly low for Manhattan co-ops at $675. Laura Weinkam of Corcoran holds the listing.
