Views of the Seine are celebrated across this riverside home in the French town of Thomery.

Architect Jean-François Susini of R2S Architects designed the geometric hillside home in 2016, and it appears as though wedged into the sloping plot like a shard of stone.

The four-bedroom French property is on the market via Espaces Atypique for €830,000 and has a ‘topsy turvy’ layout that unfurls across three levels and is anchored by a suspended central staircase.

The living room and kitchen can be found on the top floor – opening up to views of the river and a large outdoor terrace.
