Life At Sea Cruises is inviting passengers to sign up for a three-year trip that will visit all seven continents for what it calls an ultimate ‘bucket list’ adventure.

Travellers can expect to cover over 130,000 miles over the course of the journey and spend the entire year living – and potentially working remotely – from one of the cruise ship’s cabins. The price tag for the three-year-long voyage is $90,000, which includes all food and drinks, although guests with deeper pockets can upgrade to a more expensive balcony suite.

Life At Sea Cruises says the ship, the MV Gemini, has been recently redesigned to better accommodate long-term residences and offers several bars and restaurants. Guests can drop into the gym and work out next to views of the ocean or reply to emails from the ship’s meeting rooms or library.

The trip departs in November this year and travellers can board in either Istanbul, Barcelona or Miami.
