Emma Stone in the RMS Queen Mary 4

Emma Stone romps around the Art Deco interiors of a 1936 retired ocean liner in the music video for Will Butler’s ‘Anna’, directed by Brantley Gutierrez.

The actress goes on a madcap tour of the RMS Queen Mary – once a cruise ship serving Southampton, Cherbourg and New York – running riot in its hallways, bar and theatre hall. Along the way, she licks a sailor’s face, dances with the ship’s captain and stuffs dollar bills into her mouth.

Together with the RMS Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mary dominated the transatlantic passenger trade until World War II, when it was converted into a troopship. It was refitted as a cruise ship following the war but the advent of air travel saw business slow down, leading to its retirement in 1967.

The cruise liner is now permanently moored in Long Beach and holds a hotel, restaurants and a museum.
