It takes a two-hour hike through the mountains to get to this tiny alpine hut, which has just enough room for two.

The cabin is sandwiched between Piz Lunghin mountain and Lunghin pass, in Switzerland’s Engadin valley. Named simply On Mountain Hut, its corrugated metal exterior is designed to blend into and reflect the surrounding rocky landscape.

Zurich running brand On designed the cabin, as an ode to the Engadin landscape the company’s founders often hike through together. As such, the focus is on the views rather than any creature comforts.

Guests can charge phones using solar power, and wash in collected rainwater – or the nearby glacial spring if they’re feeling hardy.
