This $2.8m Echo Park home is one for the minimalists among us

On the market in Los Angeles’s Echo Park, this minimal home offers a blank slate for would-be owners to work with.

Design firm Breland-Harper is behind the four-bedroom Mediterranean-style property, which is surrounded by foliage. Sliding doors open onto a courtyard screened by palm trees and bushes, while views across downtown Los Angeles can be enjoyed from the first-floor balcony.

The studio has taken a pared-back approach to the interiors, with white walls, light wood flooring and clean lines drawing attention to the sunlight streaming into every room.

Rob Kallick of Compass Hollywood has the listing.
