Good design shapes our lives – and nowhere is this more evident than in the bedroom. Serene sleeping spaces empower us in our personal lives and professionally, with scientific studies showing that good quality sleep can improve problem-solving skills and increase productivity in our waking hours.

Unlike shared areas of our homes, the bedroom is a private space that should nurture us physically and mentally. Textures – be it bed linens, woven fabrics, wallpaper or special paint finishes – take on a special role in this space, as does colour. Choose soothing shades, especially those that draw from nature, such as soft greens, dark navy blues or natural whites.
