This Perth coffee shop by Ohlo Studio mixes midcentury design with vintage Italian diner style.

Tubular furniture and stainless steel rub shoulders with red marble and parquet flooring inside Willing Coffee, located in Perth’s Guildford neighbourhood. Ohlo Studio says they designed the cafe like a ‘jewellery box’, blending together the functionality of 1950s design and vintage cycling style – a nod to the owners’ track cycling background – with rounded lines and soft finishes.

Guests sit on curved benches at net-curtained windows and can choose magazines from the Perth coffee shop’s built-in bookshelves. There’s a touch of the classic 1950s ‘diner’ about Willing Coffee too, via a vintage-style counter and bright red kitchen cabinets.
