Woven is a wellness retreat on the Kent coast

Close to the seaside town of Broadstairs, the minimalist hideaway is designed for re-energising

This Kent retreat offers sleek Scandinavian minimalism with wellness amenities, a short walk from the pristine beaches of Broadstairs.

Known as Woven, the four-bedroom Kent holiday home is hidden among the trees on a private estate bordered by the scenic beaches, which rank among the best in the UK. Its monochrome black exterior is punctuated by floor-to-ceiling glass panes, helping it disappear into the foliage through camouflage and reflection.

Interiors meanwhile embrace the idea of forest bathing with rooms wrapped in pale timber that amplifies the sense of light from the oversized windows. This is especially true in the main living space – an open kitchen with a large dining area, ideal for hosting family gatherings.

In the garden is a wellness shed, enclosed by trees with a free-standing roll-top bath inside. Guests can enjoy a long soak – or a steam in the wooden barrel sauna – after a day of walking the Kent coast or taking a dip in the sea.

Woven is for rent via Airbnb, starting from £450 per night. Take a closer look via the gallery.
