Feeling lucky? This sprawling Georgian estate in north London is going for just £13.50 – if you pick the winning ticket in a prize draw.

Dancer Hill House in Barnet is valued at £6m, but after it languished on the market for nine months, its owners, interior designer Melanie and Nigel Walsh, have decided to offload the six-bedroom mansion in a prize draw.

Originally built as a folly in 1760, the London property has a chequered history: it was used as a prisoner of war camp during WWII. Since then it’s appeared in TV and film, most notably in the 1999 flick Great Expectations, with Charlotte Rampling and Ioan Gruffudd.

The couple has owned the country pile since 1992 and it has been completely refurbished with a cinema, gym, wine cellar and four acres of landscaped grounds, including a lake with 2,000 fish.

The closing date for the prize draw is 16 December 2018. Entrants are asked to answer a skills-based question, in compliance with gambling regulations. If the couple do not sell enough tickets to cover the value of the house, the winner will receive a cash prize equivalent for the funds raised.
