CDMX | Museo de Arte Moderno _ The architect "Ramirez Vazquez was known for stunningly original designs that blended a European modernist sensibility with pre-Columbia aesthetics." wrote the Los Angeles Times. In collaboration with others he built some stunning museums in Mexico City, some of the last museums I’ve visited before lockdown. Happy #EarthDay! ? As today's #armchairtravel I'm sharing my favourite eco hotel @scarlethotel with its incredible pool! The hotel has thought of the environment at every turn, from reducing electricity by not including kettles in the rooms (but you can call reception for tea or coffee at any time of the day!) to using bromine to clean it's pool rather than chlorine. Today in a virtual #walkwithfuus vacation, we’ve said goodbye to Hallstatt (for now) and have made our way back to Vienna to see the famous Austrian National Library, and more specifically, the great State Hall. Built in the 18th century as part of the former Court library, this baroque gem holds more than 200,000 copies of scholarly books, otherwise known as tomes.
