The Modern House has put its Tardis-like London office up for rent – and it comes with furniture by Assemble’s Louis Schulz.

The estate agent, which specialises in Modernist architecture in the UK, is moving into bigger digs early next year, meaning its 1,174 sq ft Islington HQ is available for long-term lease at £40,000 per year, from February 2018.

Set over a ground and basement level, the space features high ceilings, painted brick walls, extensive library shelving and concrete floors. Plywood desks and a large meeting table designed by Shultz – a member of the Turner Prize-winning collective – are included in the lease.

The kitchen and two private meeting rooms can be found in the basement and there’s an extra storage room and wet room on the ground floor.

The London commercial property sits on Halliford Street in east Canonbury, just off Essex Road and close to Highbury and Islington station.
