Elvis and his bride called this Palm Springs pad home in 1967 – and it’s now on the market for $5.9m.

The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll and Priscilla rented 1350 Ladera Circle for the princely sum of $21,000 following their wedding in Las Vegas. Their honeymoon hideaway was designed by architect William Krisel in 1962.

Listed via Marykay Nibley of Rodeo Realty, the 5,000 sq ft house sits at the foothills of the San Jacinto Mountains and has sweeping views of Coachella Valley. Krisel designed the Modernist property as four interlocking circles. It features curved stone walls and big glass windows, and a vast open living room with a floating circular fireplace as its centrepiece.

Dubbed ‘the house of tomorrow’, its kitsch design has been maintained through the decades. The Palm Springs property has four bedrooms as well as a swimming pool, tennis court and 1.25-acres of grounds.
