The Rockwell Bistro & Wine Bar has made its debut at The Trafalgar St. James, inaugurating a new era for the five-star London hotel, which is currently undergoing a £6m transformation.

Located in central London, The Trafalgar St. James is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton. Its lower and ground floors are the first to be renewed as part of Phase I of the renovations, housing the new Rockwell Bistro & Wine Bar, with interiors crafted by award-winning studio Design LSM.

The studio, which previously worked on 100 Queen’s Gate, Curio Collection by Hilton in Kensington, has designed Rockwell Bistro & Wine Bar with warmth and texture through a careful layering of natural tones and organic materials. Dark oak and rattan furniture contrast with bolder accent colours and biophilic bursts from plants and trees, while plush furnishings offer a domestic and inviting touch.

As part of Phase I, the lobby has also undergone a makeover courtesy of Design LSM, integrating it with the all-day bar and bistro, which serves deli-style dishes and small plates, along with a curated selection of local and international wines and cheeses.

Phase II of the hotel’s renovation is hot on the heels, with six new ‘garden’ suites scheduled for completion later this month.
