Es Racó d’Artà promises “silence and wellbeing” against a backdrop of forests and vineyards

This wellness retreat on the coast of Palma sits in over 200 hectares of land, giving guests plenty of space to hike and bike after a morning of meditation.

There’s no shortage of activities on offer at Es Racó d’Artà, which offers painting and craft workshops alongside more traditional wellbeing sessions such as yoga – which is often held in the forest surrounding the retreat.

Breakfast is cooked using local and organic ingredients sourced from Es Racó d’Artà’s own farm, and picnics are available for guests embarking on long hikes.

The retreat offers 34 rooms in total, all decked out in a muted sand and white palette. Several of the suites have their own private pools, and there are also two self-contained houses available – which are set further into the forest.

Cala Torta Beach is around an hour’s walk to get to, and the town of Artá is located a couple of kilometres away. Rooms start at €500 a night, with a three-night minimum stay.
