Having a safe home is a precious gift – that’s the message a giant 3D artwork by Leon Keer projects, as he’s ‘wrapped’ the end of a Brittany’s Morlaix building in gold paper.

Safe House is a mind-bending anamorphic mural by the Dutch artist that transforms the side of a residential building in the French commune into a gift-wrapped box, complete with taped-up paper seams.

‘Your home is precious and gives you the comfort and protection, a gift for the necessary needs in life,’ says the artist. ‘In honor of the great Christo and Jeanne-Claude.’

The trompe-l ‘œil mural was commissioned for the MX29 Graffiti Tour, a festival organized by Les Ateliers du Graff.
