Sick of working from your kitchen table? The wooden Workstation Cabin is a lockdown WFH solution that can be installed in the back garden to create a separate space to work – or an emergency guest bedroom.

The prefab hut is designed by Budapest’s Hello Wood Studio and partly inspired by the ongoing pandemic situation, which has seen people forced to work from home wherever there’s a bit of spare space.

The honeycomb-shaped cabin has 15 sides, and measures just 8 sq m and is wrapped in timber and glass. It’s insulated and soundproofed, offering plenty of privacy for work meetings, and it can be customised to include air conditioning for hot days.

Prices are available on request, but owners can also install an extra terrace, heating, TV and a sound system if they want to go all out. Hello Wood Studio says the hut is delivered turnkey, with the basic version including a built-in bench and electrical outlet.
