Original details abound inside this 1952 apartment in Le Corbusier’s UNESCO-listed Marseille development La Cité Radieuse – for sale via Architecture de Collection for €385,000.
The C-type duplex is located on the fifth floor of the complex, with living spaces unfurling across two levels. Charlotte Perriand designed the kitchen and built-ins for the project, which occupy the upper floor, while Jean Prouvé designed the staircase.

On the lower level are the bedroom and a small home office, which opens onto a terrace.
Le Corbusier saw La Cité Radieuse as the culmination of his ideas on form, function, and light and the one-bedroom Marseille property has plenty of the latter thanks to its huge, original bay windows which look out to sea.
