Three villas by John Pawson and David Chipperfield are for sale on Ibiza‘s west coast, set within the 17-hectare Sabina estate overlooking the Mediterranean.

The two Pawson houses, Can Almendro and Can Adelfa, are built predominantly from local limestone, with long, low volumes extending across their hillside plots. Both have seven bedrooms, planted roofs and swimming pools, with terraces and gardens opening towards the sea.
Can Almendro spans 904 square metres on its 4,098sqm plot, while Can Adelfa has 818 square metres of internal space across a 3,775sqm parcel. Pawson describes their scale as ‘intentionally very generous’. The architect’s use of local stone connects the buildings to Ibiza’s existing built landscape.
With Can Sabal, David Chipperfield has built a home with a strong relationship between indoors and out. Large openings frame the bay and surrounding hills, while covered terraces extend the living spaces into the landscape. The six-bedroom villa spans 1,110 square metres, with a 20-metre swimming pool set within its 3,394sqm plot.
All three houses form part of Sabina, a private estate bringing together work by a group of international architects and designers. Environmental measures across the development include geothermal heating and cooling, rainwater collection, water recycling and planted roofs.
