East London record store Vinyl Pimp is offering customers the chance to spend the night among its records for a unique listening experience.

Vinyl Pimp is located inside Oslo House – a converted warehouse at the heart of arty enclave Hackney Wick, with the guest accommodation at the rear of the record store. The overnight experience is pitched exclusively at crate diggers as a ‘first of its kind’ experience, with guests granted full access to VP’s catalogue of vinyl.

An Instagram post for the store states that ‘the room is decked out with everything you need for a comfortable and unique stay’. It’s rugged but simple: the bed is a sleeping platform inserted at the top of the double-height space and accessed via a ladder. A turntable and freestanding black steel shelving are installed below, along with a sofa. Area rugs complete the look.

Per the listing, visitors can access a listening booth and ‘the warehouse amenities including an open plan kitchen and music performance stage.’ And the room itself is ‘free’ – as long as guests spend a certain amount instore (£200 on weekdays and £250 on weekends for 1st guest, 2nd guest £100 extra).
