Electronic music site Inverted Audio is going analogue by opening a brick-and-mortar record store in south London this month to coincide with the Peckham Festival.

Located on Holdron’s Arcade, the shop officially opens on 15 September 2023 and is the first permanent physical outpost for the Inverted Audio Record Store, following a series of pop-ups and fair appearances.

The Peckham shop will stock a collection of new and used vinyl curated by Tom Durston aka DJ Antepop, from labels including Astral Industries, Ilian Tape, FXHE and The Trilogy – plus tapes, CDs and clothing from the worlds of ‘house, techno, dubbed-out grooves, experimental, avant-garde and esoteric ambience’.

Inverted Audio Record Store’s opening hours are limited to Thursday-Saturday, midday to 7 pm. Meanwhile, the Peckham Festival runs from 15-17 September 2023.
