Vintage LA post and beam asks for $1.4m

Brimming with quirky character

Built in 1957, the Plummer house has been featured in films and magazine publications and boasts a classic midcentury charm with breeze block walls and vintage dressings.

Los Angeles interior designer Piney Interiors refurbished the three-bedroom home, adding herringbone parquet to complement its massive, refinished wood beams. Walls of sliding glass at the rear of the property open onto outdoor spaces and the garden, landscaped with indigenous Californian plants and a patio with an outdoor grill – all screened from prying eyes by block concrete walls. It also comes with a large swimming pool and four car garage.

The Los Angeles property is located in Northridge, in the San Fernando Valley region of the city, and has been used as the backdrop for Houseplant by Seth Rogan, as well as shoots for GQ and Tubi Original Films.

Cameron Stephens of Stephens Real Estate is listing the house for $1.399m.
