Its owners have brought together a mix of old and new objects to fill the space, with rustic stools and tables complimenting the home’s wooden beams and contemporary design pieces bringing in some polish.

Guests can retreat to a calming bedroom, separated by glass doors and long curtains, and with a pair of skylights that bring in the morning sun.

Saint Helena opens up onto a shared outdoor space, decked in pale timber and fringed with tropical plants and trees. Guests have access to the communal veggie garden and firepit and can also borrow a surfboard or bicycle for a day trip. The home is available to book via Airbnb for £296 per night, with a minimum two-night stay.
