Roksanda Ilinčić-designed King’s Cross penthouse lists for £7.75m

Fashion designer Roksanda Ilinčić has created a pastel-hued penthouse inside a converted iron gasholder in London’s Kings Cross.

The interiors feature pieces created by established and up-and-coming women creatives, curated by Ilinčić. Furniture by Lina Bo Bardi sits alongside ceramics by Alana Wilson and Christine Roland, and murals and textiles by Caroline Denervaud.

Pastel pink runs throughout the three-bedroom penthouse, which is arranged across three floors. It’s contrasted by grey marble counters and tabletops, wooden and rattan seating and the occasional flash of yellow.

The London property is one of nine penthouses located at the Gasholders development and is available to buy fully furnished for £7.75m. Ilinčić has taken her immersive design even further by selected scents for the apartment, as well as readings by the likes of Joan Didion and Patti Smith.

Would-be owners can take a book up to the private roof garden, which overlooks the nearby Coal Drops Yard district.
