Church buildings inspired the lofty volumes of this home in Malmö, Sweden.
Stockholm-based practice Gustav Hultman Studio echoed the pitched roofs of religious buildings, creating a triple-height ceiling in the living room that rises 8.5m high.
An open fireplace has been built into a pillar in the space, which has oak parquet flooring and wooden framed windows. A sweeping wooden staircase leads up to the bedrooms.
