Jason Statham lists his Los Angeles midcentury home

The butterfly-roof property has been fully refurbished

Action film star Jason Statham is asking $6,995,000 for his renovated midcentury house above Los Angeles’s Sunset Boulevard.

The actor bought the 1957 butterfly roof home in 2015 and spent two years refurbishing it with the architect Jeff Allsbrook of Standard Architecture.

Statham – who is a fan of midcentury modern design and home renovation – bought the Rising Glen Road property as a fixer-upper for $2.7 million and has kept the shape of its original exterior.

Meanwhile, the four-bedroom modernist property’s minimalist interior has cedar plank vaulted ceilings and clerestory windows set beneath the roof’s deep overhangs. Concrete flooring features throughout while sliding glass doors open onto serene outside space.

It’s now listed via Branden Williams and Rayni Williams for Williams & Williams at Hilton & Hyland.
