The Nieuw’s Amsterdam apartment is a liveable showroom

Nordic and Parisian design combine inside The Nieuw Apartment – a canal home on Amsterdam’s ‘nine streets’ conceived as a liveable showroom.

The tranquil bolthole is decked out in serene tones and furniture curated by Ibiza Interiors and Amsterdam store, The Modern. Pieces from Carl Hansen, Fredericia, Gervasoni and DCW, as well as Frama, Menu and Heerenhuis fill rooms across the 70 sq m dwelling.

In the living room, large steel windows peek onto the canal while flooding the space with light while the kitchen connects to a balcony for enjoying a quiet morning coffee.

The Nieuw apartment is currently available as a long-term rental through Dstrct for €3,000 per month.
