Private cabin retreat Odles Lodge offers panoramic views of the Dolomites

Four high-altitude hideaways with spa offerings

Five-star mountain retreat FORESTIS has launched its latest adults-only offering – four alpine lodges set 2,000 metres up in the Dolomite Mountains for ultimate privacy and spectacular views.

The first Odles Lodge launched in late 2019 – fast forward two years, and the cluster of four remote retreats is now fully complete on the Southern slope of the Plose mountain in South Tyrol, including a spa available exclusively to guests.

Each cabin, which starts from €550 per night, takes its cues from the traditional ski chalet, reimagined with a postmodern minimalist twist. Think classic pine-knotted walls and ceilings – set at bold, geometric angles with pops of colour harnessed via oversized, tiled Swedish-inspired fireplaces.

Like its parent site, FORESTIS, there’s a strong, sustainable bent to the cabins’ designs, fabricated using local materials – namely spruce and Swiss stone pine – and powered by renewable energy (the lodge has its own plant and wood heating system.) And while it has an ‘off-gride’ vibe, the chalets are suitable for remote workers, with satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms.

Floor-to-ceiling glass walls open onto glass-encased terraces for drinking in the mountain views, while modern furniture is curated to the essentials, allowing the drama of the surroundings to carry across the interiors.

A communal swimming pool is available to the four cabins, as well as a steam room and sauna. And if you’re looking for further spa treatments, they’re also on offer a few kilometres down the road at FORESTIS.
