Designed by Amin Tadj Studio, the 2,462sqft home was completed just this year and draws on passive house principles. Thermally modified Finnish Lunawood wraps the exterior, while polished-concrete floors, exposed glulam beams and custom cabinetry by Reform CPH define the interiors. Full-height doors open directly onto the courtyard, creating a series of connections between the living spaces and the landscape.
The main floor contains three bedrooms and three bathrooms, including a primary suite that occupies its own wing. A wood-burning stove anchors the living area, while a lower-level media and guest space adds further accommodation. Outside, stone paths wind through the sloping site, which includes a swimming pool, mature woodland and a small creek running along the western boundary.
The property is located around two hours from New York City and six minutes from Woodstock. It’s listed for $2.499 million with Upstate Curious Team at Compass.
