Artform brings a touch of the countryside to new east London apartments

London practice Artform has combined ‘rural and urban living’ for its latest project in Hackney, dubbed Hide.

On the market with The Modern House from £600,000 to £1.2m, the one, two and three-bedroom apartments occupy the site of a former Victorian tilery, overlooking the city’s Haggerston Park.

Each has bespoke interiors created by architects Scenesmith in collaboration with local and international artisans. They’ve installed handmade elements, including plywood cabinetry by Lozi, Danish bricks by Petersen Tegl and terrazzo vanity tops by Altrock.

The building is a stone’s throw from Columbia Road and Broadway Market and is due for completion in January 2020.
