Studio Weave reimagines a Greenwich home with a glass roof and winter garden

With its arched windows, dusty pink walls and rustic beams, Woodland Grove has a tranquil almost Tuscan feel to it – despite being envisaged for Greenwich.

Studio Weave has designed the scheme, for sale via The Modern House for £1.2m, which sets out a blueprint for transforming an existing two-bedroom house next to Greenwich Park into an expansive, light-filled home with a leafy courtyard.

The London property house is being sold with full planning permission for a new two-storey vertical extension and exterior redesign by Studio Weave, which includes the creation of 785 sq ft of additional interior space. This includes an additional living area, ensuite bedroom and a verdant winter garden, and reconfiguration of the existing ground floor, with the addition of a glazed roof and oak beams.

There’s plenty to work with including a skylit kitchen, living and dining area with a glazed rear that unfolds to a walled courtyard. Oak flooring, concrete lighting and architectural elements such as double-height ceilings and skylights are also in place.
