Gucci Cosmos pulls into London’s 180 The Strand this October

With immersive exhibition design by Es Devlin and objects plucked from the Gucci archive for the very first time

Italian fashion house Gucci is bringing its travelling archival exhibition to 180 Studios next month, presenting an immersive exploration of its iconic era-defining designs.

Dubbed Gucci Cosmos, the show opens on 11 October. It boasts exhibition design by Es Devlin that ‘traces one of many constellations connecting the ideas and inventions set in motion by the [brand’s] creative directors and artisans over the past 102 years,’ says 180 Studios.

Curated by Italian fashion theorist and critic Maria Luisa Frisa and featuring objects and designs that are being taken from the archive for the very first time, the show charts Gucci’s evolution and demonstrates how the fashion house has not only mirrored the times but defined them.
