A former baptist church dating from 1912 has hit the market in Sweden’s Gotland for 2.995m SEK.
The timber building was converted into a three-bedroom family home by the current owners in the early 2000s. They’ve retained the original church windows and dark-stained wooden floors (plus a few religious statues here and there) while installing modern fittings in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms.

Fide Bredkvie 364’s living room has a soaring vaulted ceiling and painted timber walls. A wood and metal spiral staircase leads up to an open gallery overlooking the living room, and three bedrooms.
At the rear of the Swedish property – on the market via Fantastic Frank – is a sunroom, which opens onto the pool and terrace area with an outdoor shower.

Two more bedrooms can be found a skip away from the church conversion inside a 40 sq m, timber guest house.
