Artist’s light-filled London home is for rent at £1,500 per week

A light-soaked artist’s home off London’s Ladbroke Grove has hit the rental market for £1,500 per week.

Set over three storeys, the Chesterton Road townhouse was designed by its creative owner, who’s lived in the London property for years, according to agent Domus Nova.

Two bedrooms fill the first floor of the home – available for short-term lets – decorated in warm earthy tones and muted white shades, and a mix of antique and vintage wooden furniture.

Up a level is the heart of the property: a double-height living room and kitchen, which has a glazed roof and a palm tree set in the middle of the room to drink up the light. Interiors channel a ‘haute bohemian‘ vibe, with walls a raw plaster hue. They’ve been teamed with rustic wooden floors and Kilim-style rugs and textiles.

Overlooking the living room is a library filled with bookshelves, and a writing desk with views onto the garden from shuttered picture windows. The master bedroom is also on this level, and the property comes with a private roof terrace.

Chesterton Road is just off Ladbroke Grove, a short walk from Notting Hill.
