Danish heritage design brand Vipp has been gradually launching guesthouses for design lovers over the last decade, with spots across Scandinavia and even Andorra. Now, its Puglian property, Villa Vipp, on the outskirts of the picturesque ‘white’ village of Ostuni, is for sale as a turn-key opportunity, down to the last stick of furniture.
The dreamy destination was designed by the Dutch practice, Studiotoff – which previously designed Instagram-favourite Villa Ostuni – and blends elements of traditional Puglian architecture with minimalist Danish design.
Villa Vipp looks like a classic Italian villa from the outside, with a simple, single-storey design that revolves around a 48-sq-m outdoor infinity pool. A shady veranda wraps around the three-bedroom property. At the same time, an external staircase accesses the sun deck, which is essentially an outdoor living room that crowns the building and offers views across the property’s hectare grounds, dotted with mature olive trees.
Inside, it’s a refined exercise in Danish minimalism with an all-white colour palette daubing the open-plan living room and kitchen. Furniture is by Vipp, including the bespoke kitchen, bathroom modules and accessories.
The villa is for sale via Studiotoff, with price on application and is equipped with everything to operate as a holiday rental. You can also try before you buy – Villa Vipp is for rent this autumn from €500 per night, with ‘high’ season from April to October.
