It’s been more than a decade since cult series Breaking Bad came to its dramatic conclusion, but it continues to be lauded as one of the greatest TV shows of all time and has garnered a new generation of fans. Memorabilia from the show also draws a lot of attention, from its iconic vehicles to Walter White’s replica underwear, which sold at auction for $32,500. Now, the Whites’ Albuquerque home is for sale for just under $4m.
The four-bedroom Loma del Ray property is listed with David Christensen and Sonya Avila of Christensen Group | eXp Realty Luxury and featured as the White family home in all five seasons of the show.
‘From the explosive opening to pivotal scenes that captured audiences around the world, this Albuquerque home became more than a house—it became a character in its own right,’ says the listing.
The single-storey dwelling was built in 1972 and has living spaces spread over 1,910 sq ft on a fenced 0.17-acre lot. Since the show’s success, it’s become a landmark in its own right, popular with tourists and one of the most photographed buildings in the city.
‘Whether you’re looking to preserve its legacy, transform it into a private retreat, or reimagine it for new purposes, the spacious lot offers limitless opportunities for creativity and development.’
