It presents an opportunity — not only for ownership but custodianship

Partridge Point sits alone on the far edge of Cape Town’s Southern Peninsula, where the road bends toward Cape Point and the land falls sharply into False Bay. This privately held 3.2-hectare property is surrounded on all sides by Table Mountain National Park, creating a sense of seclusion more often found deep inside the park than minutes from Simon’s Town. The original 210sqm dwelling perches on the slope, but it’s being sold with planning permission for three additional low-impact cottages. Each of these is capped at a 125sqm footprint with 170sqm internal area, plus a 69sqm gate house.

The approved plans favour stone, timber and glass, with each cottage positioned to maintain privacy while preserving sight lines to the bay.
