Mere months since relocating to the Cotswolds following the US presidential election, the former chat show host Ellen DeGeneres and actress Portia de Rossi have decided to move on. This week, they listed their 43-acre estate, Kitesbridge Farm, for £22.5 million — up from the £15 million they paid — as they settle into a new space.

After undertaking a full renovation on the 1,361sqm house DeGeneres told the selling agent Sotheby’s that the couple were seeking additional acreage for de Rossi’s beloved horses.

The listing specifies that the property is ‘discreet’, with a heated indoor pool, helicopter shed, two private guest cottages and a party barn with its own pub. The ground-floor principal suite has two dressing rooms, an ensuite French doors to a private garden.
