Multidisciplinary artist Daniel Arsham takes over Amsterdam’s Moco Museum today with his mind-bending retrospective show, Connecting Time.
Blurring the lines between architecture, sculpture, and performance, the Snarkitecture co-founder has installed a series of surreal and immersive ‘rooms’ inside the gallery.
Alongside big hits from the last decade, Arsham’s never-before-seen interactive work ‘Calcified Room’ makes its debut. The post-apocalyptic living room features objects covered in an eerie ‘calcified’ layer – nodding to the absence of its inhabitants.

Elsewhere the highly instagramable (and aptly titled) ‘Amethyst Ball Cavern’ is filled with giant purple balls, while the ‘Eroded Wall Paper Room’ is designed to discombobulate visitors.
‘Connecting Time’ runs until 30 September at Moco Museum
