Stay in SpongeBob’s Bikini Bottom bolt-hole

SpongeBob’s pineapple-shaped abode is almost as iconic as the man himself – and now you can stay in his digs. Nickelodeon and Nick Resort Punta Cana have teamed up on this 1,500-square-foot real-life bolt-hole in the Dominican Republic, complete with port holes, underwater decor and a lifesize version of Gary. Artist Okuda San Miguel has transformed an abandoned house in Arkansas into a cathedral of colour for the city’s Unexpected Art Festival. Titled ‘Universal Chapel’, the house has been wrapped in a dazzling Technicolor design that would give Joseph a run for his money… Designboom has more.
