New London Architecture has announced the shortlist for its annual ‘Don’t move, Improve! 2019’ award, which offers visual inspiration for your renovation challenge.

The prize celebrates the best and most innovative home extensions across London and demonstrates how it’s possible to squeeze every last inch out of existing buildings in the space-starved city.

Among the 37 projects vying for the crown are a converted chapel, a woodworker’s studio, a zero-waste renovation and a revamped water tower.
