Before the fictional Rose family lost their fortune in hit Canadian comedy show Schitt’s Creek, they lived in this lavish 24,000 sq ft Toronto mansion.

Dubbed La Belle Maison, 30 Fifeshire Road was constructed in 2012 in 17th century French Chateau style inspired by the Palace of Versailles. Think ornate, gilded mouldings, marbled floors, frescoes and unabashed luxury.

The 12 bedroom Toronto property is located in the York Mills and Bayview area of the city and comes with a home theatre, golf simulator, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, and a wine cellar. Its foyer is painted in the style of the Sistine Chapel, complete with its very own gossiping angels.

While the Rose family’s mansion was repossessed by the bank on award-winning show, in real life, it’s for sale via HomeLife/Vision Realty for $14,980,000.
